Artist's Statement

The melting point of the exhibition, this piece materializes inner alchemy. It is here that generational trauma and psychic tension are welcomed, burned, and transmuted. The tormented material bears witness to the intense effort of conversion: transforming the lead of history into creative gold to liberate the future.

Historical Context

1990s–2000s — New York / Athens: Post-conflict; he confronts transgenerational trauma, names the ghosts, and clears the path for those who follow.
